US Budget Deficit Increases 17% to $367 Billion Due to Calendar Payment Adjustments




The U.S. government recorded a budget deficit of $367 billion for November, marking a 17% increase from the previous year. The Treasury Department announced on Wednesday that calendar adjustments for benefit payments led to an additional $80 billion in outlays when compared to the same month in 2023.
