US News: Deadliest Natural Disaster since Statehood Claims Lives of 67 in Hawaii Wildfires

The search teams, assisted by cadaver dogs, are continuing to search the burnt remains of Lahaina, a town on Maui island.
Governor Josh Green has cautioned that the number of fatalities will continue to rise, surpassing the 61 people who died in a tsunami in 1960.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine the cause of the fast-spreading wildfire that destroyed the popular resort of Lahaina with little warning for residents.
Despite the emergency sirens intended to warn people of imminent danger, they failed to activate before the devastating fire broke out.
