Trump Jr, along with his brother Eric, denies any wrongdoing. New York’s attorney-general is seeking a $250m penalty and a ban on the Trumps from running a business in the state. After finishing his testimony, Trump Jr requested a flattering portrait from the sketch artist, referencing a portrait of another defendant in the trial. Trump Jr expressed confidence in his testimony, stating that the case is a political persecution. Eric Trump also gave testimony, denying involvement in his father’s financial statements. Donald Trump has criticized the trial on his Truth Social platform, calling it “rigged” and a “miscarriage of justice” and accusing the attorney-general and judge of being biased due to their Democratic affiliations.
