Virginia Giuffre, Prince Andrew’s Accuser, Discharged from Hospital After Claiming She Had ‘Four Days to Live’ Post-Car Crash | World News
Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct, has reportedly been released from the hospital after previously stating she had “four days to live.”
Her representative confirmed her discharge on Monday, as reported by the US celebrity site People.
Recent photographs from Australian media suggest that Ms. Giuffre was seen being driven in a vehicle north of Perth.
The 41-year-old appeared with visible bruising on her face last week while sharing an Instagram video in which she claimed her car was struck by a school bus that was speeding as she was preparing to make a turn.
She mentioned, “I’ve entered kidney renal failure, and they’ve told me I have four days to live; I’m being transferred to a specialist hospital in urology.”
“I’m ready to go, but not until I see my kids one last time…”
Authorities reported a “minor crash” involving a school bus and a car in Neergabby, approximately 12 miles from Perth, on March 24.
“The bus driver reported the collision the next day,” said a spokeswoman. “There were no injuries recorded from the incident.”
Shortly after her Instagram video, news broke that Ms Giuffre faced charges for allegedly violating a family violence restraining order.
It has been reported that Ms. Giuffre has separated from her husband.
The case was scheduled to return to court today (April 9).
Ms. Giuffre filed a lawsuit against the Duke of York for sexual abuse in August 2021, alleging that Andrew engaged in sexual relations with her when she was 17 and had been trafficked by his associate, the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The duke has consistently denied the allegations, and he has not faced any criminal charges.
In March 2022, it was announced that Ms. Giuffre and the Duke had reached an out-of-court settlement, which was believed to include a “substantial donation to Ms. Giuffre’s charity supporting the rights of victims.”
