The founder of a dark web marketplace that facilitated the sale of illegal drugs, stolen passports, and hacking tools using Bitcoin has received a pardon from President Donald Trump.
Ross Ulbricht was sentenced to life in prison in 2015, without the chance for parole, due to his role in running the concealed website. At just 26 years old, he was also mandated to forfeit $183.9 million (£120.2 million).
