Wisconsin: Five Dead, Including Juvenile Suspect, in School Shooting Incident | US News
Tragically, five individuals, including a minor suspect, have lost their lives following a shooting incident at a school in Wisconsin.
The event took place at Abundant Life Christian School located in Madison, the state capital, according to police reports.
Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes stated, “Upon arrival, officers encountered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.”
He also mentioned that a juvenile believed to be the perpetrator was found deceased inside the premises.
Authorities suspect that the individual responsible for the shooting was a student at the institution.
Earlier reports indicated that “multiple injuries” had been documented.
The school is a private establishment that serves approximately 400 students from kindergarten through 12th grade, as per information available on its website.
Social media footage from the scene captured a large emergency response, with police, ambulance, and fire units present.
