Ben Potter, a YouTube star known as Comicstorian, has tragically passed away at the age of 40 in an unfortunate accident, as announced by his wife.
Having amassed a following of over three million subscribers on YouTube, Potter was a beloved American comic book creator.
His wife, Nathalie Potter, shared in a statement on X, “To many of you, he was Comicstorian, narrating stories from various mediums. To us, he was a cherished and supportive individual in every way.
“Whether as a husband, son, brother, friend, or even a stranger, Ben was kindhearted and authentic. He was always there to listen and support his loved ones.
“He had a talent for making others laugh and ensuring their well-being. He was our pillar of strength, offering reassurance whenever it was needed.”
Describing him as “my world,” Nathalie expressed the need for time to come to terms with the loss and commemorate his creative legacy.
“His YouTube channel was a significant achievement for him, and while we mourn his passing, I know he wouldn’t want his work to end here,” she added.
“For over a decade, Ben shared his passion for storytelling and well-crafted characters through his channel. It was his love for captivating narratives that inspired his YouTube journey.
“Our team is dedicated to upholding his vision. We aim to honor him by continuing to tell engaging stories created by talented individuals, ensuring the memory of our superhero lives on.
“We always supported each other in our pursuits, and I intend to carry on that support.”
