Criminal Case Against NY Mayor Permanently Dismissed
The criminal case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams was permanently dismissed on April 2, following the earlier dropping of charges by the Trump administration.
Adams, who had pleaded not guilty to charges of bribery and accepting illegal campaign contributions from Turkish diplomats, had the charges conditionally dropped in February at the government’s directive due to their interference with his mayoral duties regarding the city’s illegal immigration issue.
At that time, the ruling allowed for the charges to be refiled at a later date.
