According to police, two individuals were killed in a knife attack that took place in the Bavarian city of Aschaffenburg on Wednesday morning.

The victims of the attack were a toddler and a man, and the incident led to the serious injury of two others.

Authorities have apprehended a 28-year-old man from Afghanistan in connection to the stabbing in Aschaffenburg, located about 25 miles southeast of Frankfurt. The suspect was captured near Schoental Park, where the attack occurred around 11:45 a.m. local time.
