Air Canada will be recommencing flights to Israel in June, operating four flights per week.

Air Canada has announced that it will resume flights to Israel in June, following a year and a half hiatus due to the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The country’s largest airline revealed in a recent travel update that it will operate four direct round-trip flights per week from Toronto to Tel Aviv starting on June 8, with an additional weekly return flight from Montreal set to commence in August.

Conducting thorough safety and security reviews, including discussions with government authorities and other airlines restarting services in Israeli airspace, Air Canada is preparing to resume operations.

Two U.S. carriers, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines, are also gearing up to return to the region, with flights to Tel Aviv scheduled for March 15 and April 1, respectively.

Air Canada initially suspended flights to Israel during the Israel-Hamas conflict in October 2023, briefly resuming services last April before halting them again after an incident involving Iran.
