Argentine Province Declares Gan Jing World as Site of Educational and Cultural Significance

U.S.-based online platform Gan Jing World has been recognized as being of provincial, educational, cultural, and social significance by one of Argentina’s provinces.

The Honorable Chamber of Representatives of Santiago del Estero, a province in Argentina’s northwest, made the declaration on Gan Jing World on Dec. 10, 2024.

Gan Jing World was established in mid-2022 with the mission of fostering a digital community centered on positive content. The name of the platform “Gan Jing” means clean, according to the platform, reflecting its mission to provide a space for sharing and consuming healthy content.

Nora Mercado and M. Analía Herrera, representatives leading the province’s Culture and Education Committee, championed the initiative with the aim of expanding its reach within the community to benefit people of all ages.

Before presenting the platform to the Education and Culture Committee and the Legislative Chamber for approval of the Declaration of Interest, committee representatives Mercado and Herrera thoroughly reviewed the platform’s foundations to ensure its capability to protect users.

Both representatives noted that the Declaration of Interest would enable more people to benefit from a digital culture free of harmful content. Among other initiatives, they proposed introducing Gan Jing World to universities and educational communities across the province of Santiago del Estero.
