Authorities express profound worry for baby reportedly abducted by mother in Langley, BC

RCMP express serious concern for the safety of an infant reportedly taken by his mother from a residence in Langley, B.C.

An Amber Alert was issued late on April 4 after three-month-old Tyler Durocher was allegedly abducted by his mother, 35-year-old Brianne Ford.

Cpl. Zynal Sharoom states that Ms. Ford is believed to have left the residence on foot with the baby, but despite immediate mobilization following the abduction report, they were not located.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to finding the boy and Ms. Ford.

Cpl. Sharoom describes Ms. Ford as last seen in a black leather jacket with one side of her head shaved and purple highlights in her brown hair.

The boy’s father is cooperating with the investigation, but details about the circumstances of the abduction and custody arrangements remain unclear.
