British Soldier Allegedly Spying for Iran Suggests Becoming Double Agent for MI6

The prosecution presented evidence against Daniel Khalife, who is accused of collecting money for spying from a dog waste bin and escaping from jail underneath a van.

In court, it was revealed that Khalife, a former British soldier, gathered secret information about service personnel, including those in special forces, and was paid by the Iranian intelligence service for this information.

Among the evidence presented was a handwritten list of 15 soldiers, including members of the SAS and SBS, that Khalife had recorded along with details obtained from an internal Army spreadsheet.

It was claimed that Khalife engaged in covert activities, gathering and recording sensitive information for unauthorized purposes. This included making contact with Iranian handlers while serving in the Army and offering his services to Iran.

After his arrest for these allegations, Khalife is accused of escaping from Wandsworth Prison by attaching himself to the underside of a food delivery truck.

The trial is ongoing, with Khalife denying all charges against him.
