Canada Post Guarantees Delivery of Letters to Santa by Christmas Eve
Canada Post assures that letters heading to the North Pole will reach by Christmas Eve now that its operations have resumed. However, Santa Claus will not be able to respond this year due to time constraints.
The Santa letters program is back in action following a month-long strike involving over 55,000 postal workers. Canada Post promises that all mailed wish lists will receive “special care.”
Letters with the well-known HOH OHO postal code sent by Dec. 23 will be delivered as per the postal service’s announcement.
Despite the inability to respond to mail letters this year, Santa is excited to read them, according to Canada Post.
The postal service has installed scanners in its facilities to identify Santa letters, ensuring their direct delivery to the North Pole.
Canada Post’s operations resumed on Tuesday after the country’s labour board mandated employees to return to work, given the significant gap between the negotiating parties that hindered a deal by year’s end.
