Canadian Foreign Minister States that Canada is Capable of Supplying Japan with Critical Minerals and Energy
According to Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, Canada is capable of supplying critical minerals and energy to Japan. This statement was made ahead of bilateral talks in Tokyo on Nov. 7 with her Japanese counterpart.
“We believe your security is our security, and we believe also that we can provide you support in terms of energy and critical minerals which is so important to the Japanese people,” Ms. Joly said.
The Group of Seven foreign ministers from wealthy industrialized countries, including Canada, Japan, and the United States, are scheduled to meet for two days starting on Nov. 7.
