Beijing announced that the regulations will take effect from midday local time on April 10, at 12:01 a.m. EDT.
China’s finance ministry has revealed an additional 84 percent tariff on all goods imported from the United States, set to be implemented on Thursday.
On April 9, the communist regime stated that these regulations will take effect from midday in Beijing time (12:01 a.m. EDT) on April 10. The 84 percent tariff replaces the previously announced 34 percent tariff.
On April 2, Trump declared a minimum 10 percent tariff on all trading partners, along with higher levies on approximately 60 nations named by the administration as “worst offenders” in trade imbalances with the United States, including an additional 34 percent tariff on China.
When China responded with reciprocal 34 percent levies on U.S. goods, Trump imposed an additional 50 percent on the Chinese regime, leading to a total of 104 percent tariffs on Chinese imports, which went into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday.
This is an evolving situation and will be revised.
