Circle K to offer discounted fuel at all Canadian service stations starting August 29th
Canadians will be able to fill up their vehicle tanks before the long weekend for a savings of 10 cents per litre at Circle K stops across the country.
The discount is being offered Aug. 29 between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in celebration of the company’s annual Fuel Day. There are more than 1,200 locations across Canada running the deal.
“We are thrilled to bring back Circle K Fuel Day ahead of the Labour Day long weekend, and offer Canadians some great savings at the pump,” said Alimentation Couche-Tard senior vice-president of operations Stéphane Trudel in a news release. Alimentation Couche-Tard owns Circle K.
The discount will be applied at the pump in all provinces except Prince Edward Island. Customers in that province will need to pre-pay in-store to receive the discount, the company said.
The deal comes in time for the last long weekend of summer—a time when a lot of Canadians will be on the road.
For those planning a road trip for the Labour Day weekend, the RCMP is offering the following tips.
Don’t Drink
Police say impaired driving is one of the leading causes of death, with approximately one in three collisions involving alcohol. Most of these accidents happen during the summer months, the RCMP said.
