It was a key element in defining Canadian identity and independence. However, the ongoing debate about assimilation and alignment with the US is a sign of slow progress from a colonial past to a modern G7 nation.
It is crucial for Canadians to understand why their economic position has weakened while the once-praised universal health-care system faces collapse
A new government must implement economic reforms to attract investment and utilize Canada’s natural resources efficiently. This can provide more resources for health care but won’t solve the systemic issues in the health-care system.
