Deliberations in BC Murder Trial to Continue as Jury Reconvenes



A jury will continue deliberations on December 8th in the case of Ibrahim Ali, whose lengthy first-degree murder trial in B.C. Supreme Court concluded on December 7th.

Mr. Ali is accused of killing a 13-year-old girl in a Burnaby, B.C., park over six years ago.

During the final stages of the eight-month trial this week, it was revealed that Mr. Ali’s defense team had been threatened regarding the case. Lawyer Kevin McCullough read out one threat that mentioned his family facing “a violent and brutal death” before Christmas.
