Documentary on CCP’s Targeting of Faith Group Inspires Largest Whistleblower Movement
According to a new documentary, a group of meditators exposing the Chinese regime’s human rights abuses has become its “single largest whistleblower.” The documentary, titled “the Long Arm of Beijing,” was released on April 15 and sheds light on Beijing’s ongoing efforts to silence Falun Gong, a spiritual community advocating for truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
The persecution extended beyond China, with volunteers in the United States facing stalking, harassment, and even physical attacks. CCP officials, including former leader Jiang Zemin, actively worked to malign Falun Gong internationally.
The Falun Gong community, both inside and outside China, mobilized to expose the CCP’s crimes and tyranny to the world through various means, including distributing leaflets, hijacking state-run broadcasts, and providing firsthand abuse accounts on Minghui.org.
Levi Browde, executive director of the Falun Dafa Information Center, emphasized that the persecution of Falun Gong serves as a blueprint for the CCP’s oppression of other groups and individuals within China and beyond. He warned of the regime’s expanding reach and ability to suppress dissenting voices worldwide.
He emphasized that Falun Gong, through its resilience and determination, has become a crucial voice in exposing the atrocities committed by the CCP and serves as a warning to others who may face similar oppression.
