Epson Reveals Victors of 2024 International Pano Awards with Breathtaking World Vistas


The results of the 2024 Epson International Pano Awards have been unveiled.

This competition is the largest in the world focusing on panoramic photography. This year, it attracted 4,529 entries from 1,105 photographers, both professional and amateur, representing 95 different countries.

The top honoree in the 2024 Open Photographer of the Year category, as well as the Nature/Landscape category, is Kelvin Yuen from Hong Kong for his submissions: “Power of Nature,” “Wilderness,” and “Mountain of Divinity.”

Craig Heckenberg, the Managing Director of Epson Australia, praised the high caliber of entries, stating, “Once again, the Pano Awards entries have been nothing short of exceptional. The 2024 submissions have pushed the boundaries of quality and creativity, serving as a true inspiration for all photographers.”

Yuen shared the story behind his photograph, “Power of Nature,” captured in China, explaining, “The primary objective of my trip was to photograph the iconic mountains of Guilin, known for its karst formations. On the day I took this photo, I woke up at 3 a.m. with plans to hike for the sunrise. However, a sudden thunderstorm emerged, so I decided to capture the storm instead.
