Family Massacre: Jury Hears Testimony That Killer Acted With ‘Murderous Intent’ While Under the Influence of Drugs

A man has been accused of a horrendous quadruple homicide, which includes the deaths of his girlfriend, her mother, her grandmother and grandmother’s partner in a house in south London. It is believed that Joshua Jacques was suffering from a drug-induced “transient psychotic disorder.” The prosecution argues that Jacques was acting with “murderous intent” because of self-induced intoxication. The horrifying spree occurred on the night of April 24, 2022 into the morning of April 25, 2022. This resulted in three generations of one family being murdered. The defendant denies this and suggests that he had diminished responsibility. It is alleged that Jacques was a heavy user of “potent skunk cannabis,” which may have affected his mental state. The key to the case is speculated to be Jacques’ state of mind at the time of the murders. The trial is expected to last for two weeks.
