Fisherman’s Shocking Disclosure Nearly a Decade After Malaysia Airlines Plane Vanished
An Australian fisherman and his crew claimed to have found a jetliner’s wing just months after Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared in 2014. The plane, which had over 200 passengers, vanished as it was en route from Malaysia to China in March 2014, and its whereabouts remain a mystery. Fisherman Kit Olver reported that his net snagged on something off the eastern coast of South Australia while working. He described the item as a “bloody great wing of a big jet airliner.” Despite the fisherman alerting local authorities to his finding, he was told it was likely just a piece of a shipping container. Another member of the crew, George Currie, confirmed Olver’s account of the event. The wing eventually had to be cut loose and now rests on the seafloor. Meanwhile, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority has not responded to Olver’s claims. MH370 had more than 150 Chinese passengers on board, and the investigation into its disappearance continues.
