Governor of the Virgin Islands Allegedly Exerted Influence on Prosecutor in Jeffrey Epstein Case
A prosecutor who was fired by the governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands has disclosed that the governor put pressure on her regarding sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Denise George, who served as the Virgin Islands attorney general until late 2022, revealed that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. contacted her personally, requesting that she grant Mr. Epstein a waiver from travel restrictions.
Mr. Bryan, a Democrat, informed me that “Jeffrey Epstein wants to be granted a waiver for the travel requirements,” and he stated that his attorneys would be reaching out to me. He encouraged me to meet with them and consider it,” testified Ms. George under oath.
