How Pearson Airport Services Can Ease Your Travel Worries
Traveling can be stressful, but if your trip takes you through Toronto’s Pearson Airport, there are several services that can make your journey easier.
Here are some of the top services that the airport has to offer to travelers.
Lounges
Pearson has domestic, U.S., and international lounges available for all passengers. These spaces help you escape the bustle of the airport while you wait for your flight. Enjoy hot and cold drinks, fresh food, flat-screen televisions, and even showers. They can be booked for 2 hours and up. Kids are welcome.
Excess Baggage
With Pearson’s Excess Baggage services, you can store items, like bags or even your coat, for anywhere from a few hours to several weeks. You can also buy extra luggage and accessories or arrange for parcel delivery or baggage transfers to and from your hotel. The service is open from 5 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Relax Spa
Make your stopover more enjoyable with a trip to the Be Relax Spa where you can indulge in a massage to relieve your sore muscles. They also offer nail care, facials, and waxing services. You don’t need an appointment; just drop by between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Free Wi-Fi
Stay connected on your journey with Pearson’s free Wi-Fi. Select the free public Wi-Fi connection in your networks, go to the landing page, check on the terms and conditions of use, and you’re ready to go. If you don’t have a device with you, you can browse the internet on one of the free iPads in the lounge areas.
Nursing Pod
Traveling with kids can be challenging, but if you’re looking for a quiet, private space to nurse your infant or to pump, a Mamava pod is available in Terminal 1 and can be opened with an access code. The pods are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Pharmacy
Starting to feel a little run down with traveling? Stop by Pearson’s DrugSmart Express mini pharmacy where you can pick up over-the-counter items like cold medications, lozenges, feminine products, teeth care kits, PPE kits, and allergy medication. The best part is it is always open.
Goodlife Fitness
Rejuvenate while you travel and enjoy a workout at the 10,000-square-foot Goodlife Fitness location in Pearson. You’ll not only keep up with your wellness goals but can also reduce stress, combat fatigue, and overcome jetlag. The space has Reebok clothing and shoes available to rent as well as changing rooms with showers and hair dryers.
Mobile Passport App
Travelers to the United States can get through customs faster with the Mobile Passport Control app. In the app, users create a profile and answer some screening questions from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Using the app means you won’t have to fill in a paper form, and may be offered a designated queue.
Currency Exchange
Travelers heading overseas can get the cash they need for the trip at the International Currency Exchange (ICE). It also buys over 70 foreign currencies. You can also order in advance with the click-and-collect online reservation service. Pick the collection point and date and you can pick up your currency and pay in-store.
