Irish Prime Minister Urges Ceasefire in Gaza, Draws Parallels between Irish and Palestinian Pasts
During the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the White House on Sunday, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar likened the history of the Irish people to that of the Palestinians. He called for a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as for increased humanitarian aid to be sent to the region.
