Israel confirms the killing of a terrorist believed to be a future leader of Hezbollah

Israel officially announced the death of Hashem Safieddine, a high-ranking Hezbollah terrorist and cousin of the group’s recently deceased leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
Safieddine was viewed as a future leader of Hezbollah.
He was involved in directing attacks against Israel and played a significant role in Hezbollah’s decision-making.
The IDF further noted the elimination of terrorist Ali Hussein Hazima, commander of Hezbollah’s Intelligence Headquarters, responsible for directing attacks on IDF soldiers.
Hezbollah has carried out numerous terrorist attacks, including major incidents like the suicide bombings at the U.S. Embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut in the 1980s.
