Judge Warns Suspected Serial Bird Abductor




A man with a history of abducting birds has been given a stern warning by a magistrate to stay away from all animals as he faces additional cruelty accusations.
Tom Quach had previously confessed to capturing a white ibis and bringing it to his home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with plans to consume it.
The 61-year-old was once again arrested on Saturday for reportedly using fishing wire and bread to abduct two white corellas, another native species.
He was charged with one count of animal cruelty and another of attempting to harm a protected animal.
