Kristian Niemietz Argues That Britain’s Success Was Not Due to Slavery or Colonialism, But Rather Benefitted a Few Elites

In his new book, Kristian presents data showing that the British Empire was not as profitable as commonly believed. He argues that the notion of Britain’s success being dependent on colonialism and the slave trade does not hold under closer examination.
