Lebanese Health Ministry Reports 22 Dead in Israeli Beirut Airstrikes
The Israeli military has escalated its air campaign in Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah leaders and capabilities.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health reported dozens of injuries and deaths from Israeli airstrikes in Beirut on Oct. 10.
Israel has increased military operations in Lebanon following clashes with Hezbollah, a designated terrorist group with a significant presence in Lebanese society.
The Epoch Times reached out to the Israeli military for comment but did not receive a response.
Hezbollah launched rockets at Shebaa Farms on Oct. 8, prompting Israeli retaliatory airstrikes.
The Israeli military has conducted numerous strikes across Lebanon to weaken Hezbollah’s capabilities in recent weeks.
Israeli forces also entered Lebanon with ground operations last week.
Lebanon’s crisis response unit reported 28 killed and 113 wounded from Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours.
Hezbollah has killed 28 civilians in Northern Israel and 39 Israeli soldiers during the conflict.

Efforts to evacuate foreign citizens from Lebanon have increased as the situation worsens, with calls for a cease-fire issued by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
