Medics Launch ‘People’s Vaccine Inquiry’
A group of medics and professionals set to testify at the UK COVID-19 Inquiry emphasizes that safety information should not be delayed for the public’s sake.
A “People’s Vaccine Inquiry” has been initiated by a group of doctors and other professionals as the official COVID-19 Inquiry postponed a segment examining the vaccine rollout until January 2025.
The panel includes pathologist Dr. Clare Craig, Dr. Jonathan Engler from the Health Advisory and Recovery Team (HART), behavioural scientist and author Patrick Fagan, and retired civil servant and Perseus Group spokesman Nick Hunt.
Other members of the panel are consultant pediatrician Dr. Ros Jones, consultant cardiologist Dr. Dean Patterson, and former NHS medic, Dr. Liz Evans, who chairs the Medical Freedom Alliance.
‘An Attempt to Hide Evidence’
The panel stated on their website, “There has been a significant failure in public health over the past few years, which continues. It seems there is an effort to conceal evidence from the public. We hope this website serves as a valuable resource for the public and healthcare professionals to stay informed on the latest evidence regarding COVID vaccines and their rollout.”
In her video statement, Dr. Evans highlighted the evolution of healthcare practices over the years, pointing out how evidence-based medicine has been steered by vested interests in recent times.
She expressed concern that what began as evidence-based guidelines have now become rigid protocols that limit doctors’ autonomy in making decisions, influenced by pharmaceutical interests.
‘Medicine Hijacked By Big Pharma’
Dr. Evans further suggested that evidence-based medicine has been compromised by the influence of big pharma on medical protocols today.
Dr. Engler, a qualified barrister and medic, and part of the PANDA group of scientists, criticized the flaws in clinical trials for COVID-19 vaccines.
He pointed out that the Pfizer trial lacked a proper double-blind setup, hence leading to potential biases that could impact the trial outcomes.
Dr. Craig highlighted evidence suggesting that multiple vaccine doses may increase the risk of contracting COVID due to changes in antibody response in vaccinated individuals.
She debunked claims that millions of lives have been saved by vaccines, labeling it as a falsehood based on unrealistic modeling.
The group urges for the information on their website to be shared widely, including with healthcare professionals and GPs.
The forum has garnered support from Professor Paul R. Goddard of the University of the West of England, a retired consultant radiologist and author.
Doctors Must Be Able to Speak Freely
Professor Goddard stressed the importance of doctors being able to voice their concerns about vaccines without the fear of repercussions on their careers.
He recounted an encounter where the General Medical Council allegedly restricted doctors from freely discussing vaccine concerns with patients, suggesting a lack of transparency and openness on such matters.
He highlighted the authorities’ inactivity in investigating vaccine safety concerns and the lack of guidelines for pathologists in post-mortem examinations of vaccinated individuals experiencing sudden death.
Concerns About the Official Inquiry
The delay in the vaccine module of the official COVID-19 Inquiry has raised concerns among those affected by vaccine-related issues about the intent of the inquiry.
A spokesperson from the COVID-19 Inquiry denied allegations of bias and assured that the inquiry aims to provide a comprehensive review of pandemic response, from preparedness to distribution of healthcare equipment and supplies.
The final inquiry modules will delve into the impact on the adult social care sector, children, and the testing regime. There are fears that this lengthy process might result in the most expensive public inquiry in UK history, with possible years-long duration.
The vaccines and therapeutics module is now scheduled for January 2025, as the inquiry focuses on examining vaccine safety and financial redress systems under the UK Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme.
