Metropolitan Police to Step in if there is a ‘Jihad Call’ Targeting Israel

A police commander has stated that the chant calling for jihad against Israel will be monitored by Metropolitan police officers during a pro-Palestinian rally in central London. The commander explained that if someone specifically calls for jihad against Israel, the officers will intervene, gather information, and report back to determine the appropriate course of action. The commander’s statement is in response to calls for the full force of the law to be applied to those calling for jihad, while the Metropolitan Police Commissioner argued that current laws do not criminalize such chants.
