Pat King, Convoy Freedom Organizer, Set to Receive Sentencing on February 7th
Pat King, a key figure in the 2022 Freedom Convoy protest, is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 7.
In November, Superior Court Justice Charles Hackland found King guilty on five charges, including mischief and contempt of court. However, he was acquitted of three charges of intimidation and one count of obstructing police.
King faces a possible sentence of up to 10 years in prison, but his defense team is seeking a lighter sentence of time served and probation.
King spent five months in jail before being released on bail. He was briefly back in custody after the Crown alleged that he violated his bail conditions.
