Quebec Cyclist Fatally Injured After Falling Off Bike and Striking Parked Car

MONTREAL—A 31-year-old cyclist has passed away after falling off his bike and colliding with a parked vehicle in downtown Sherbrooke, Que.

Police report that the accident occurred around 8 p.m. Tuesday on Dépôt Street.

Following the investigation that concluded around 2 a.m., it was determined that the death was not criminal.

Authorities interviewed witnesses and reviewed surveillance camera footage to establish the sequence of events.

Observers stated that the cyclist was discovered on the ground, and authorities confirm that he later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Normal traffic flow has been reinstated in the vicinity.
