Robert Pickton, B.C. Serial Killer, Passes Away After Prison Assault
Convicted B.C. serial killer Robert Pickton has passed away from injuries sustained during an assault at the Port-Cartier Institution, according to Correctional Service Canada.
Mr. Pickton died on May 31 after being hospitalized following the assault involving another inmate on May 19, CSC said. He was 74 years old.
Mr. Pickton had been convicted and sentenced to jail for six counts of second-degree murder in December 2007.
