Shocking Incident: 50 passengers treated after being thrown into roof of Sydney to Auckland flight

Passengers have shared their experiences following a technical issue on a LATAM Airlines flight from Sydney to Auckland.
About 50 individuals on the flight received treatment in Auckland by St John units on-site, with 12 individuals taken to the hospital and one said to be in a serious condition.
The LA800 flight was heading to Santiago, Chile, with a layover in Auckland, New Zealand’s most populous city.
One passenger recounted to the New Zealand Herald that the plane suddenly dropped into a nose dive, causing passengers to scream.
The plane dropped so abruptly into a nose dive for a few seconds, and around 30 people hit the ceiling hard,he told the publication.
No announcements were made by the captain during the flight, leaving passengers confused until afterward.

LATAM Airlines expressed regret for any inconvenience and injuries caused to its passengers due to this incident, emphasizing safety as a top priority in its operational standards.

she said.
