Tesla Removed from Vancouver International Auto Show Due to Safety Concerns
The Vancouver International Auto Show has decided to exclude Tesla from participating in this week’s event due to safety concerns.
Executive Director Eric Nicholl stated that the show requested the electric carmaker to withdraw because of a significant focus on the safety of workers, attendees, and exhibitors.
Nicholl mentioned that Tesla was given multiple chances to voluntarily back out.
He assured that this decision was made to ensure that everyone attending the event can fully enjoy all the positive aspects it has to offer.
This action follows the “Tesla Takedown” protests over the weekend, including demonstrations in Ottawa and Metro Vancouver.
