Toronto Airport Runway Cleared after Delta Plane Crash
The wreckage of a crashed Delta Air Lines jet has been cleared from a runway at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
The airline mentions that the process of removing the wreckage took several hours on Wednesday.
Recovery of bags from the plane to their owners could take weeks due to inspection and cleaning procedures, as stated by Delta.
Delta has offered US$30,000 in compensation to passengers who were on board the plane, with no conditions attached to the money.
All 76 passengers and four crew members survived the crash landing of Delta Flight 4819 at Pearson on Monday.
