Toronto Police to Boost Security at Jewish Elementary School Following Shooting Involving Multiple Suspects
Toronto Police declared that they will enhance their presence following a shooting incident at a Jewish elementary school on May 25 in the early hours.
Inspector Paul Krawczyk informed the media that the shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. at Bais Chaya Mushka, a girls’ elementary school.
“The suspects arrived at the school in a dark-colored vehicle. They exited the vehicle, opened fire at the school, causing damage to the front of the school,” he explained. “Afterwards, they got back into the vehicle and left the area.”
Inspector Krawczyk mentioned that no injuries were reported, and no gunshots were heard in the vicinity.
He further stated that Toronto Police will increase their presence in the neighborhood.
“I understand that this situation can provoke concern, fear, and anxiety in the community,” he said during the media briefing. “Toronto Police will prioritize community safety as always.”
