to Canada. Macron arrived from New York on Sept. 25 and had dinner at Trudeau’s home at Rideau Cottage.
During his brief trip, Macron visited both Ottawa and Montreal.
The two leaders discussed the challenging situation in Lebanon during a morning meeting on Sept. 26 in Trudeau’s office.

In the Indo-Pacific, the countries are enhancing strategic and military analysis and exploring options for joint patrols, including potential Canadian involvement in French aircraft carrier deployments.
