Ukraine Allegedly Launches Drone Attack on Moscow, Russia Claims A Total of 34 Drones Used
The Ukrainian president has stated that his country’s air defenses have been actively engaged in countering Russia’s recent attacks.
On November 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Ukraine launched 34 drones towards Moscow.
“An attempted terrorist attack by the Kyiv regime using drones against targets in Russia was foiled between 7:00 and 10:00 Moscow time,” the Ministry of Defense shared on Telegram.
The ministry disclosed that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 70 Ukrainian drones: 34 over Moscow, 14 in Bryansk, 7 each in Oryol and Kaluga, 6 in Kursk, and 2 in Tula.
“Last night, Russia launched a record 145 Shaheds and other drones against Ukraine,” he reported. “Throughout the week, Russia has utilized over 800 guided aerial bombs, nearly 600 drones, and close to 20 missiles.”
The situation escalates following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. election, where he promised to work towards resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict swiftly.
“We are interested in developing mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation that will benefit both of our nations. Ukraine, as one of Europe’s strongest military powers, is committed to ensuring long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies,” he added.
