A recent national poll showed that 56% of voters think Biden’s motives involve preventing Trump from winning by putting him behind bars. The poll surveyed 1,000 likely voters with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1% and was conducted between March 9 and March 14.
It is also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin secured an 88% reelection victory after imprisoning his main political opponent, Alexei Navalny, and many of his supporters. Biden’s alleged tactics against Trump have drawn comparisons to Putin’s approach.
Furthermore, the poll revealed that 86% of Republicans believe Biden is using the justice system against Trump, indicating bipartisan concern over the issue.

- 52% to 38% suggest that Trump’s indictments are politically motivated.
- 58% to 34% think Biden should cease targeting Trump and instead let voters decide the next president.
Despite the allegations, Trump currently leads Biden by 49% to 43% in a hypothetical head-to-head election matchup.
The polling data also reflects widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration, with 66% of voters feeling that the country is on the wrong track and 56% disapproving of Biden’s performance as president.
As Biden faces economic challenges and international crises, his strategy seems to have shifted from focusing on policy issues to targeting Trump legally.
