Howard Stern goes easy on President Biden: Letters to the Editor

The Problem: Howard Stern’s recent gentle interview with President Biden.

Howard Stern is seeking to reimagine his own past by embracing “wokeness,” as evident in his respectful interview with President Biden (“It’s Howard the cuck,” April 30).

The motive is simple: Stern acknowledges that his past behavior aligns with all the “isms” that the woke community opposes. By watching his old shows, it is evident that Stern represented everything that the woke individuals despise in an entertainer. He fears that the woke mob will come to his multiple homes with pitchforks and torches to hold him accountable for his past actions that are anti-woke.

Stern fails to understand that he has sacrificed his freedom of speech now that he has accumulated wealth. Now, he himself has become a mockery of wokeness.

I started tuning in to Howard when he was on WNBC-AM and continued through Sirius XM Radio.

I stopped listening in 2009. Seeing his shift against former President Donald Trump and listening to this interview with Biden makes me nauseous. Howard, you are simply a mouthpiece. Sirius, should let him go.

I’m not sure what’s more concerning: Biden appearing on Howard Stern’s show or the fact that Stern (once a shock jock, but now a woke joke) still has a job.

In the 90s, Stern created a comedy skit where he was in blackface and used the n-word.

Where is cancel culture when it’s needed?

Howard believes Biden is a “good father” to the country and his family. That’s laughable.

The nation is facing criminal activities in the streets, while Marxists are infiltrating the schools. Stores are empty, food prices and interest rates are soaring — and Biden raised a son struggling with addiction who was involved with his deceased brother’s spouse.

Howard has truly lost his way.

Like many former Stern listeners, I tuned out from “Coward” Stern a long time ago. Although he had funny moments in many sketches, his internal hypocrite has emerged.

The Issue: President Biden’s statements during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The disastrous farce of the floundering Biden administration hit a new low during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday (“Indecent exposure,” April 29).

Biden not only belittled his supposed opponent but also insulted the press by admitting to The New York Times’ criticism that he avoids journalists’ questions.

Yet, the press corps largely found this amusing. This indicates that they do not take their profession, skills, and mission seriously.

Press freedom is meaningless unless journalists honor their role in our democracy.

Democrats were outraged by former Rep. George Santos, yet have shielded President Biden by portraying him as a man of decency.

He is more inept than Jimmy Carter and more corrupt than Richard Nixon. Biden deserves these record-low approval ratings more than anyone.

Props to Miranda Devine for exposing Biden’s indecency, highlighting the absurdity of the adulatory press at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
