KT McFarland warns on Newsmax: Israel’s survival is at risk
Former Deputy National Security Adviser KT McFarland told Newsmax on Thursday that the security and survival of Israel are at risk, with President Joe Biden being responsible for the situation.
McFarland appeared on “Wake Up America” to discuss Biden’s action of withholding military aid from Israel due to its invasion of Rafah, which she believes is necessary for making Gaza “Hamas-proof.”
According to McFarland, Biden’s decision only benefits Hamas, regardless of the outcome.
“If Israel is unable to defend itself independently, then the security of the state of Israel is at risk right now, and its survival is also in jeopardy,” McFarland said in the interview with host Rob Finnerty.
The Biden administration’s decision to withhold American equipment will make it difficult for Israel to succeed in its missions.
Biden recently stated that he is withholding high payload munitions needed by Israel to combat Hamas in Rafah. He mentioned, “We’re not abandoning Israel’s security, but rather their capability to engage in warfare in those regions.”
McFarland argues that these are essentially the same thing.
“Israel has never asked for American military intervention. They have always maintained that they can defend themselves, but they require assistance with equipment. However, by denying them the essential weapons for security and survival, President Biden has essentially abandoned Israel,” she explained.
However, McFarland believes that Biden’s decisions have put Israel in a lose-lose situation where Hamas comes out victorious regardless of the outcome.
