Alan Dershowitz tells Newsmax that the jury for Donald Trump is biased.

Harvard University Law School professor emeritus, Alan Dershowitz, spoke to Newsmax on Friday and suggested that former President Donald Trump had an unfavorable jury in his New York criminal trial.

In a criminal trial in New York City, twelve jurors and six alternate jurors were selected to hear the case against Trump involving alleged attempts to hide hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.

“This jury may not be favorable towards Donald Trump,” Dershowitz said on “Newsline.” “It seems to lean towards a New York Times, TikTok audience. It might be the best from a New York jury pool perspective, but it’s not ideal for Donald Trump.”

He predicted that the best outcome Trump could hope for is a hung jury, expressing doubt that the jurors will acquit him.

Dershowitz also criticized the judge’s refusal to disclose the first three witnesses the prosecutors planned to call in the trial.

He considered it unfair that Trump’s attorneys were not given advance notice to prepare for cross-examination and stated that the gag order imposed on Trump was unjust.
