Clyde Informs Newsmax: Amendments Will Cease Prosecutions of Trump



Rep. Andrew Clyde, a Republican from Georgia, has proposed two amendments to an appropriations bill that would defund the prosecution efforts against former President Donald Trump. The amendments would specifically target special counsel Jack Smith, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ prosecutions. Clyde believes his plan has a chance of success and intends to introduce the amendments when the bill is taken up in committee. The proposed amendments directly impact funding to the Justice Department.
