Former head coach of the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills, Dick Jauron, has died at the age of 74 after a courageous fight with cancer.

On Saturday, the Bills shared the news of Jauron’s passing, extending their condolences to his family and friends.
Jauron led the Bears from 1999 to 2003, finishing with a record of 35-45 in Chicago. He then served as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills from 2006 to 2009, where he recorded a 24-33 record over three seasons.
Additionally, he was the interim head coach for the Detroit Lions during the final five games of the 2005 season.
Throughout his decade-long career as an NFL head coach, he achieved an overall record of 60-82. His final coaching role in the NFL was as the defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns from 2011 to 2012.
A star running back at Yale, Jauron was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
