Georgia Now Allows State Funding for AP Black Studies Classes
Georgia state Superintendent Richard Woods announced on Wednesday that the state will cover the costs for districts to offer a new Advanced Placement course in African American Studies. This comes just one day after stating that districts would have to use only local funds to teach the course.
