Jill Biden: Confident Joe Will Win

First Lady Jill Biden disregarded a Wall Street Journal poll showing Donald Trump ahead of President Joe Biden in six swing states.

Appearing on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, the First Lady expressed confidence in her husband’s chances against the former president in all seven surveyed states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.

The Journal poll indicated Trump leading by 2 to 8 percentage points in all battleground states except Wisconsin, where Biden held a 3-point lead.

“No, he’s not losing in all the battleground states. He’s gaining momentum,” Jill Biden stated. “Once people focus and see their choices, it’s clear Joe will win this election.”

In all seven states, negative opinions of Biden’s performance exceeded positive ones by at least 16 percentage points, with the gap widening to over 20 points in four states, according to the Journal survey.

On the other hand, Trump received only unfavorable reviews in Arizona, with negative opinions outweighing positive ones by just 1 percentage point.

Despite this, the First Lady declared that the Biden campaign is “going great,” as she continues to travel when not teaching.

Her surprise TV appearance coincided with the announcement of Missy Testerman as the 2024 National Teacher of the Year, a teacher in Tennessee.

“Our students trust us… and they rely on us for help and guidance,” Jill Biden remarked about Testerman and teachers nationwide.

The First Lady also teaches at Northern Virginia Community College.
