Karoline Leavitt Criticizes Biden’s ‘Disgraceful’ Narcissism in Interview with Newsmax

President Joe Biden’s habit of referencing his late son in speeches meant to honor fallen heroes and the lives lost of other grieving Americans is deemed as “disgraceful” and a disrespectful gesture towards gold star families in the nation, according to Karoline Leavitt in an interview with Newsmax on Monday.

During his Memorial Day speech at Arlington National Cemetery, Biden once again brought up his late son, Beau, as he shared about the upcoming anniversary of Beau’s passing.

“It’s always about Joe Biden, and it’s disgraceful. He does this regardless of the occasion, whether it’s at West Point or in front of families who have lost their loved ones across the country,” Leavitt expressed on “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE.” “He continuously redirects the focus back to himself. It’s appalling and disrespectful to our gold star families who are mourning today, not celebrating, the loss of their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation.”

Gold star father Darin Hoover disclosed to Newsmax on Friday that he has not heard from Biden in almost three years since his son was among 13 service members killed at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan. However, Biden ensured to mention Beau in a commencement speech for Morehouse College graduates last week. Biden has also erroneously stated in speeches that Beau lost his life while serving in Iraq.

Despite this, Hoover spoke of the support he received from former President Donald Trump, who is no longer the current commander in chief.

“President Trump met with several gold star families last night at the Coca Cola NASCAR race, the 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I can tell you personally that it is one of President Trump’s greatest honors to meet with gold star families and to be a champion for our veterans and military families across this great country, and he will do that again when he is our commander in chief, and he’s back at the White House,” Leavitt shared with guest host Michael Grimm.

“And from our campaign. I would like to say our deepest respect and gratitude and love go to all those who have lost their loved ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom in this great nation,” she added.
